From the estate to the bakery for your fresh daily baguette is just 15 minutes cycling or 5 minutes by car! Villemur Sur Tarn, the chic local town is 5 km away. Both are a perfect distance to explore along the convenient walking/bike path that passes the property.
The beautiful village markets, horse riding, water sports and hot air balloon venues are easily accessible, and for a longer day out there are adventure parks, formal gardens, vineyards, historical bastide towns, the Airbus factory or the Toulouse Cite de l’espace (space centre) for any aspiring astronauts. The cathedral city of Albi and the ancient fortress at Carcassone should also be high on your holiday “to do“ list.

The jewel in the regional crown is Toulouse or La Ville Rose (The Pink City). It is just a 30-minute drive away, and nicknamed after its rose-coloured architecture. Toulouse is particularly abundant in churches, museums and streets lined with pavement cafes. Definitely worthy of a leisurely visit.
